An off-line of Intelligent Megawatt Energy Storage Power Station

In recent years, with the continuous development and improvement of mobile container energy storage power stations, no matter how remote areas, even islands far away from the mainland, remote farming and pastoral areas, and inaccessible desert mountains, people are no longer troubled by the shortage of power resources. An energy storage power station is like a large charging station, storing energy during the day and supplying power at night. In early July, Hubei Science and Technology Co., Ltd. commissioned Standard Automobile (Guangdong) to design and produce the intelligent megawatt energy storage power station, which was successfully rolled off the production line, sent to Hubei province and delivered to customers.


The container is the size of 40’GP standard shipping container, which is 40 feet long, 8 feet wide and 8 feet 6 inches high, making it easy to be transported by skeleton semi trailer to the work places of each project at any time. The container body is equipped with 50 mm thick rock wool insulation layer and louvers around it for heat dissipation and ventilation. The front end of the container body is equipped with built-in ladder, which is convenient for maintenance personnel to carry out the top maintenance work. The color of the container is double matching color, with the customer‘s designated LOGO.


It is reported that 1 megawatt is 1 thousand kilowatts, at present the specification of household electricity meter has 10A and 40A two kinds, to calculate accordingly, the average household electricity power is at 2.2~8.8 kilowatts. At 5 kilowatts, it is estimated to supply 200 households. The average home air conditioner is just over 1,000 watts, so one megawatt is equivalent to the electrical power of nearly 1,000 air conditioners simultaneously. That is to say, a 40-foot storage container can roughly meet the electricity needs of a medium-sized community.
